Our Stockists

Stone Daisy takes its name from the medieval ‘witch marks’ carved into the buildings we call home.  Whilst witch marks can take different forms, our predominant witch mark is known as hexafoil, often referred to as a ‘daisy wheel’.  And with our witch marks carved in stone, Stone Daisy as a name just seemed right.

Our Beers

We have three core beers:

Our Best Bitter is Snail Creep Hanging (4.2% ABV), a traditional beer style where the sweetness of the darker malts in the mash is
balanced by bitterness from some of the hops during the boil in the copper.  Colour is amber, aroma is sweet and floral, taste is bitter with floral and toffee notes.

Our social Pale Ale is Cow Down (3.8% ABV), a contemporary ale brewed with more hop character but without the addition of darker malts.  The punch comes from the fresh citrus aroma and taste of the Cascade and Citra hops and means several glasses can be enjoyed with friends - or strangers.  Colour is pale gold, aroma is citrus, grapefruit and summer!  Taste is crisp, fruity, I’ll have another please!

Our India Pale Ale is Park Down (4.5% ABV), a modern IPA - not having to be brewed extra strong to survive the sea journey from England to the Empire! Brewed to satisfy the post imperial palette that still demands the powerful hop and malt flavours they would expect. Colour is summer sunrise, aroma is warm grain and grapefruit, flavour is subtle malt, rich fruits and contemplation.

Wiltshire, England

Sustainability - and ethics.

Sustainability is at the core of everything we do.

We’re lucky that we tick most of our production boxes.  Not only do we use the grain that grows in the fields right next to our brewery. Our water rises from chalk aquifers right beneath our feet.  And our barley is malted nearby at the last remaining traditional maltings at Warminster.

Ethics is key for us - simply put it comes down to being nice to people, to always punch up and never down and to always ask yourself who is getting your money.  We buy from good people, local wherever possible, we look after our staff and community as a family and we won’t hesitate to call out anyone around us who try to make us, or others poorer or feel out of place.

What people are saying...
